Defence Projects

Las Palmas Refurbishment

Jabin worked with Aurecon and Program Delivery Services (PDS) Defence Contractors on the refurbishment of the Las Palmas and Northern Heritage Living-in Accommodation facilities at Defence Estate Cairns, Queensland. The refurbishment works included roof replacement, roadworks and drainage upgrades, electrical upgrades, and swimming pool refurbishment works. Jabin provided project management and contract administration services to support the successful delivery of the project.

Tweed Heads Multi-User Depot

Jabin was engaged as the Project Manager and Contract Administrator (PM/CA) for the delivery of a new Australian Defence Force (ADF) Reserve and Australian Army Cadet facility on a greenfield site in Tweed Heads, NSW. The facility was designed to meet both current and future capability requirements. Directly engaged by the Department of Defence, Jabin delivered project management and contract administration services for the $7.76 million project, which was completed in 2024.

2CER Hardstand, Gallipoli Barracks

Jabin was appointed directly by the Department of Defence as the Project Manager for the construction of a 3,500 m² concrete hardstand at Gallipoli Barracks, Enoggera, QLD. The project facilitated the relocation of the 2nd Combat Engineer Regiment's (2CER) tracked plant capability to the Plant Training Area. Jabin successfully managed the delivery of the $7.3 million project, which was completed in 2025.

HMAS Watson

Jabin provided full façade engineering services, including design certification, for the new office administration building at HMAS Watson. Working in collaboration with façade contractor Onsite Group, Jabin delivered specialist façade engineering expertise throughout the design and certification phases of the project.

AACAP Amata

In partnership with GHD Australia, Jabin assisted in the delivery of the Army Aboriginal Community Assistance Programme (AACAP) project in Amata, APY Lands, South Australia. GHD was engaged by the National Indigenous Australians Agency (NIAA) in a technical advisory role, while the Army's 19th Chief Engineer Works oversaw the design and construction of service providers' accommodation and community-wide stormwater drainage systems. Jabin contributed to the successful delivery of this important community infrastructure project.
