Powerhouse Parramatta $1 Billion
Jabin are engaged to design, engineer and certify the large bespoke glazed curtain wall façade systems for the Powerhouse Museum in Parramatta. The panels required high movement tolerances and tight installation allowances, significantly complicating the design. Additionally, support framing for the large Glass Reinforced Concrete (GRC) cladding systems were included in Jabin’s engineering scope of works
Our specialist façade systems delivered complete custom extrusion design and bracketry for the curtain wall systems; structural support framing and bracketry systems for the GRC cladding panels, structural steel support frames and oversized bespoke ‘airport’ tilt door systems as well as purpose-built frameless glass doors.

The curtain wall systems were delivered with full testing verification and engineering design compliance to all required client and project requirements, including all loading, weather proofing and performance testing verifications under Australian Standards and the National Construction Code – on time to meet project schedule. The project is currently in installation / construction and is due to be completed by late 2025.
